QLF Liquid Supplements serve a wide range of nutritional needs and are fed in both free choice and TMR feeding systems. QLF’s Liquid Feeds have unique advantages because they positively impact on livestock rations, both nutritionally and physically.
Improved Fibre Digestion – Liquid supplements can replace some starch in the diet leading to increased ration digestibility.
Increased Ration Density – A liquid supplement fills the gaps in the rumen left by solid feed, hence a liquid can be fed when the rumen would otherwise be full with solid feed.
Timed Release Protein and Biological Availability - Urea is better utilised when fed in a liquid due to QLF’s unique "Timed Release" protein which degrades in the rumen over a similar time period to soya. The soluble forms of phosphorus and trace minerals and vitamins are also more available and more uniformly mixed when added within a liquid supplement.
